I trained as an architect at Obafemi Awolowo University, and I have spent more than fourteen years designing and delivering the places people live with: civic buildings, health care facilities, schools, family homes, and halls. For nearly eight of those years I served as Special Assistant to the Governor on Housing in Ogun State, co-ordinating the design team on public projects, and later I led the team at Spacevibes. I am now in the United Kingdom, with a distinction in BIM-enabled sustainable buildings from the University of Northampton, and I work as a Project Officer at the National Energy Foundation on retrofit and household energy advice. Architecture is a chapter I am proud of, but it is not the whole story, and the next chapter is still being written.
The long first stretch was in Nigeria. As Special Assistant to the Governor on Housing in Ogun State, I worked on a health centre, a judiciary complex and other civic buildings. At Spacevibes Limited I carried that experience into a hall, a school and community buildings. Across both roles I learned to take a building from brief to site.

Some of the work faced a street, and some of it tried to hold a whole neighbourhood. I was learning how a frontage meets people, and how a plan can carry more than one life at once.

My first UK project came before I moved here. In 2020, working from Nigeria with Spacevibes Limited, I designed a rear extension in London that was granted planning permission. Since arriving, a distinction from the University of Northampton and retrofit work at the National Energy Foundation are how this chapter is taking shape.
